Great Day for a Ride

My goal for this week is to ride 100 miles and ride 5 days.  Today I road a short easy 11 miles to start getting use to the saddle again.  I hooked up my bike camera before starting my ride.  It's programed to take a photo every min.

Back to Riding!!

I decided to take several months off riding to catch up in other areas in life with a goal of riding again in the first week of June.

So here it is June 3rd.  I have signed up for 3 Century rides; Windmill Century on July 21, Cool Breeze Century on August 18, and Lighthouse Century on September 29th.

My goal is to ride a century a month for the rest of the year starting in July

I will start riding 5 days a week on Monday June 4th.

Training Update

I didn't ride much in the last couple of weeks to to other commitments.

Week ending 2/05/12: 52 miles
Week ending 1/29/12: 45 miles

Miles to date: 249
Longest ride to date: 35 miles
Weight 179 lbs

I have a metric century scheduled in March and a full century scheduled in late April.

Long ride goal for next week: 40 miles
Weekly mile goal for next week: 100 miles

2012 Year Goals

My training goals for 2012


Distance:  On paper I should be able to ride 8,000 miles, bust since I don't live in paper my goal for 2012 is 4,000 miles.

Miles to date: 152 miles

Weight: My goal is to get my weight down to 155 pounds.  I currently weigh 184 pounds, my goal is to loose 5 lbs a month.

Century Rides: 4

1st Week of Training

This is just a quick update on my training.

I'm taking things easy as I start my training.  I have my first century ride scheduled for the end of April.  My butt is no longer sore and my energy level is up.

Back in the saddle again!!

Back in the saddle again!! 

January 1st 2012, my 1st ride since i got back from my cross country bike ride in Aug 2011 see www.bob2wheels.com

I been wanting to get back on the bike for a while now and today I finale did.  It felt good except for my butt, it was out of condition.  I only went for a short 10 mile ride, but it was enough to get my ridding juices flowing again.  I'm planing my return to long distance ridding and I have my 1st century ride scheduled for late April 2012!!
