Training Update

Ride: Weekly Training update for week ending 8/15/10
Weekly Distance: 118 miles

Ride time: 9 hrs

2010 miles to date: 3,337

This was a short week as far as miles go.  My goal was 6 days and 185 miles.  I forgot that this was a non-ride weekend to take care of other stuff. I also had a couple of after work events to attend, a going away happy hour for my former boss and the company beach picnic.  I still wanted to ride at least 100 miles so I took short rides on the weekend.  Next weekend will be the Cool Breeze Century out of Venture and might be my last one for the year.  I also will be doing more hills on my training rides a couple of days a week until I switch to weight training in a few weeks.
